Summary: You can permanently delete your Arogyam account and all associated
medical data at any time, directly inside the app. This page explains how.
How to delete your account in the app
- Open the Arogyam app and sign in.
- Go to the Profile tab.
- Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account.
- Type DELETE to confirm.
- Your account and all associated data are removed immediately.
What gets deleted
When you delete your account, the following are permanently removed:
- All prescriptions, lab reports, and documents (including uploaded images and PDF files stored in Firebase Storage)
- All family member records you added
- Your user profile (name, email, date of birth, blood group, allergies, and any notes)
- Your Arogyam authentication account
What is kept, and for how long
We do not retain your personal or medical data after deletion. All records are deleted
immediately from our Firebase database and Storage when you complete the steps above.
Any residual copies in routine backups are purged within 30 days.
We keep no data beyond this period.
Deleting individual records without deleting your account
You can also delete individual prescriptions, lab reports, documents, or family members
at any time from within the app, without deleting your whole account. Open the record and
choose Delete.
